The students of IIT-Patna have secured more than 450 job offers from over 220 companies till date during the ongoing placement season. Many more students are likely to secure job offers as a number of companies are yet to visit the campus, said IIT-P's training and placement officer Kripa Shankar Singh.

According to a statement from the institute, 60 students out of the participating cohort of 70 received a package of Rs 20 lakh and above.Around 43% of the cohort i.e. 30 out of 70 students received Pre-Placement offers (PPOs), TISS Mumbai said.
